The bf and I have become addicted to this unique ice cream shop in Beverly Hills called Ice Cream Lab. They use molecular gastronomy to make the ice cream right in front of you with fresh ingredients and liquid nitrogen. I like to play with their combinations and make my own...this one is Blue Velvet Cookies & Cream (Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Oreo Cookies and a mini Blue Velvet Cupcake w/ Cream Cheese frosting).
Decided to add some side-bangs this weekend courtesy of the fabulous Shay at Trim Salon in Venice Beach.
My first 7-layer dip (yay!!). Refried Beans, Sour Cream, Homemade Guacamole, Salsa, Cheese, Tomatoes and Olives.
I've been hearing about all of these box clubs that seem to be the new thing of the moment. I did some research to find the best one for me and chose Klutch Club because of its focus on helping you discover healthy lifestyle products and snacks (I mean how else are you going to decipher between the many health-focused offerings on the market...plus, who doesn't like a surprise box of goodies in the mail every month!). I was plesantly surprised with how much they packed into that little box...definitely looking forward to February's box! Click here to try it, and get your first box free using code: freeklutch (just pay $8 shipping).
I love adding extra ingredients to jazz up simple box brownies. In this batch I added caramel squares just after pouring the mix into the pan (to ensure gooey caramel in every bite) and a few walnuts on half.
A MUST when you come to LA. Salted Caramel Pie from Simplethings Sandwich & Pie Shop.
This is one of my favorite healthy at home breakfasts when I'm craving something on the sweeter side. 0% Fage Greek Yogurt, La Brea Bakery Original Granola, Blueberries, Honey and Chia Seeds.
